Founded in 1985, the Practice has enjoyed continued success, expanding both the client base and its financial strength, to enable a formidable service to be offered, for the UK and abroad.

We are a multi-disciplinary Building Services Consultancy in Kent. The Practice offers many forms of service but its core business is the design of Mechanical, Electrical, and Public Health Building Services. These designs are engineered to provide a quality product and address the ever-increasing demands for energy reduction together with lower carbon emissions.

Personal involvement by the Principal Directors and Technical Directors has led to the success of the practice, combined with a genuine understanding of the Client objectives and requirements.

Mechanical, Electrical & Public Health Design
The Practice offers a wide range of technical services delivered by experienced and qualified engineers and project managers. We can assist you from a pre-planning stage, through to practical completion, on-going maintenance & in-use monitoring, ensuring the design & installation meets your Clients expectations.

To ensure the quality of our service, we are members of The Association of Consulting Engineers, Chartered Institute of Building Services, BSRIA, BSI and Construction Line.

We also are externally audited for our design service to ISO 9001:2015 & ISO 14001:2015

At SWP, we believe that best practice should be standard practice and are committed to working in a more sustainable way for both the environment and our people.

In 2021, SWP became signatories to the Building Services Engineers Climate and Biodiversity Declaration as well as the first members of PRIME Principals for responsible business.
